#163 - Ronnie Oneal AKA The Riverview Murders

The defence of “Stand Your Ground” is not uncommon.  Using it against a Capital Murder charge whilst offering no evidence you were actually under attack, is a strange tactic.

Screaming at the jury is unlikely to make them sympathetic.  Swearing in Court and being admonished by the Judge would also be a negative mark.
